The Ultimate Reward!!

This is where You’ll be Washed

bismillah (2)

A heart moving bitter  reality that majority of us are forgetful about… by shaykh Salah 3Anad Al-3Enizee.

A tour inside the place where you’ll be washed. A must watch for all

“Everyone shall taste the death. And only on the day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted into Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of Deception (a deceiving thing)”. [soorah Aal-e-3Imraan, v:185]

May Allaah grant us all a good ending… Ameen.

The Akhira “A reminder”

YOLT – You Only Live Twice

Bismillah1A must watch powerful reminder inshaa’Allaah, specially for our youth…

(Note: Kindly ignore the background music/nasheed which is not intended or meant to be promoted)

.

YOLT – “You only live twice” is referring to our Dunya (temporary life) & the Aakhirah (Life after death-more enduring/lasting).

Our Aakhirah depends on this life & we will be held accountable for every single deed (good & bad). Allaah says in the Qur’aan:

“Everyone shall taste the death. And only on the day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted into Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of Deception (a deceiving thing)”. [soorah Aal-e-3Imraan, v:185]

and He says:

“…Truly, the life of this world is nothing but a [quick passing] enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.” [soorah Ghaafir, v:39]

Once this life is over, then its all over, no one can return back to make amendments or do good deeds. Lets focus & see what we are preparing for our Aakhirah.

“O you who believe! Fear Allaah and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for tomorrow, and fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is All-Aware of what you do”. [soorah Al-Hashr, v: 18]

May Allaah give us “Husnul-Khatimah” a good ending. Aameen

Any good that comes from this post is from Allaah alone and any mistakes & errors therein are from myself.

Oh My Fingers!

Remember The Order…To Lower Your Gaze

When My Lord Asks Me…

Poem that made Imaam Ahmad cry

Ibn al-Jawzee mentions in his book that One of the students of Imaam Ahmad asked him: ‘Yaa Abaa 3AbdAllaah, what is your view about these odes (poem) which mention Paradise and Hell?’

He asked, ‘Like what?‘ He said, ‘They say:

When my Lord asks me..
Are you not ashamed to disobey Me?….

He asked him to repeat it & he did it again. Then Ahmad stood up and went into his house and closed the door behind him. The student said, ‘I could hear him from inside the house weeping like a child, it was as though he would die from crying:

This was what recited to him (1)

may Allaah subhaanahu wa ta3aala make my scale heavy with good deeds on the day of Judgement & enter me to Jannah without accounts. aameen

I have come to you (in repentance) – so have mercy on me, and make heavy my scales (with good deeds)

And lighten my account – You are the best of who will bring me to account.

Soften Your Heart (by Shaykh Salih Maghamsi)

Close your eyes…

Prepare for a day like this…

A message for those undergoing hard time & difficulties, a reminder for those who are indulged in duniya, a wake up call for us.

SubhanAllaah, we all are in need of constant reminders…

On the authority of al-Baraa ibn 3Aazib (radi-Allaahu 3anhu) who said: “While we were with the Messenger of Allaah sall-Allaahu 3alayhi wa sallam, he suddenly looked towards a group (of people) and said: “For what reason have they gathered here?” It was said: “In order to dig a grave”

So the Messenger of Allaah sall-Allaahu 3alayhi wa sallam became alarmed and startled and he quickly went ahead of his Companions until he reached the grave, then he knelt upon it, and I turned my face towards him sall-Allaahu 3alayhi wa sallam, in order to see what he was doing.

He sall-Allaahu 3alayhi wa sallam cried until the earth became wet with his tears, then he turned to us and said: “O my brothers! Prepare for a day like this”. (1)

A Talk with the Self

Oh my self what will calm you?
Can’t you remain patient for a day or two?
I try to contain you but your strength overpowers
But when we die life will seem like hours

So can’t you be patient for part of a day?
And remain steadfast upon the straight way?
The direction you’re taking leads to my worst fears
Of the day we stand for fifty thousand years

No one will joke nor talk nor smile
And the sun from our heads will be at a mile
Nowhere to hide and nowhere to flee
Standing for what seems an eternity

Then the judgment begins and the books will land
Either on your right or your left hand

Oh my self …

Do not become like those who left the right track
And put their left hands behind their back

Oh self

how do you plan to cross the siraat suspended in the air?
Craftier than a fox, sharper than a sword and thinner than a hair?
How do you plan to cross? Or will you cross at all?
The blink of an eye? Run? Or would you rather crawl?

The bad deeds you command will drop you from it
And only good deeds put you back upon it
Oh self it’s a five hundred year-drop suspension
Over a terrible place I’d rather not mention

Oh self…

Do not be fooled by this world and its illusions
And keep in mind judgment, the grave and other conclusions
Oh self wake up! Don’t follow your desire
And ask for forgiveness to avoid the fire

Oh self

keep the commands and avoid prohibitions
And pay close attention to these admonitions
Be amongst those who were the best of planners
Who prepared for the future with good deeds and good manners

Oh self

it simply about your control
Being patient now so as to reach your goal
I don’t mean to put a burden, or put much stress
Just to warn of a day when the limbs confess

Sins add up as you live through the years
Then sadness won’t save you and nor will the tears
Every time you sin the Shaytan is winning
So remember the One against Whom you’re sinning

Oh my self…

Life is short and ends when you least expect it
And then what will you say when you’re resurrected?
The angel of death overlooked you and took the souls of your brothers
And one day he’ll come to you and overlook others

For great rewards plant the righteous seeds
Oh Allah, I seek refuge from the evil of my self and from the evil of my deeds.

And We have fastened every man’s deeds to his neck, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a book which he will find wide open. (It will be said to him): “Read your book. You yourself are sufficient as a reckoner against you this Day”. [soorah Al-Israa, v:13-14]

E-mails from the Grave

bismillah

Allaah says in Soorah Yaa-seen:

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

“Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book.”  [Soorah Yaa-seen, v:12]

In the light of the above verse , I urge you to watch this video, please  share this especially with the youth.

SubhaanAllaah…it really made me shiver as I read the translation/subtitle. The short 3 minutes video,  is by Shaykh  Dr Muhammad Al-3Arifi who wrote the book “Enjoy Your Life” – a wonderful book indeed published by Darussalam.

May Allaah grant us Husnal Khatimah. Aameen

You Will Be Your Own Worst Enemy

How big is Your LIGHT?

“The Day (will surely come) when you shall see believing men and women – their light running forward before them and (with their records-Book of deeds) in their right hands.”
[soorah Al-Hadid, v:12]

How big is YOUR LIGHT ?

You’re sitting comfortably in your room when all of a sudden, the electricity goes off. It becomes completely dark. You can’t see a thing. Although it is your own house, life comes to an inconvenient, complete halt.

That’s because you can’t see a thing! You dare not move, in the fear that you may knock something over or worse still, you may stumble and hurt yourself. Uncomfortable and unnerving, isn’t it?

Now fast forward to an unknown time in the future…… when it will be dark like this and even worse…..

when you…. and I…… and all of mankind….. will be gathered in the dark, in front of a bridge…..

a bridge that is sharper than a sword and thinner than a hair…..

a bridge called as-Siraat…….the bridge over Hellfire.

When the companions asked about the bridge, he (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: ‘It is a slippery (bridge) on which there are clamps and (hooks like) thorns which are wide at one side and narrow at the other and have bent ends… Some of the believers will cross the bridge as quickly as the wink of an eye, some others as quick as lightning, a strong wind, or fast horses or she-camels. So some will be safe without any harm; some will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hellfire. The last person will cross by being dragged (over the bridge).” Bukhaari

And then, it will be ordered that we all pass over this bridge. And we will have no choice but to comply to the order of the Lord of the Worlds. But it will be dark, darker than any darkness one can ever imagine…..

and on this horrific Day, mankind will be desperate… desperate to do anything, anything, to have some kind of light that will help them see the way and guide them to cross over the Siraat.

And then….. there will be light..
