    As Salaamu Alaikum
I have read your article relating to Haj and i need some clarification regarding this particular article “Some EXTREMELY common, oft-repeated mistakes during Hajj and Umrah” by Asma bint Shameem. Can you give me daleel relating to the issues related in it, like you have pointed out the mistakes can you tell why it is wrong and what is the correct way of doing it.
I have read and sent the article to some of my friends and one of them is asking me this question “Common mistakes that people make! I wish to know how authentic are these observations of mistakes. From where have these been taken?
Does it mean these are Bidaah’s then? Please clarify.

  67. @ Brother Khmustafa

    Wa 3Alaykum Assalaam wa Rahmatullaah

The mentioned article “Some EXTREMELY common, oft-repeated mistakes during Hajj and Umrah” by Asma bint Shameem”, is not on my blog. This article is widely available on the net and perhaps you read it on other site. I gave it a quick read, the author has explained the points with aayaat & ahaadeeth. These mistakes or concepts are widely spread amongst Asian people & can be seen during Hajj & 3Umrah seasons.

Any action or deed, about which there is no daleel or proof from authentic sunnah & ahadeeth and people do/observe it (in terms of deen), then it is a bid3ah.

If the scholars have labeled any of these mistakes as bid3ah, then yes, these are bid3ah. I don’t know & will try to search inshaa’Allaah.
    & Allaah knows best

There are some centers that have Memorization classes for non-Arab girls.

Maryam Center has a structured Qur’aan Program for girls, starting from basic Important Qai3dah course, that teaches the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters & corrects the Makharij (letters exits).

After completing the Qai3dah course, the girls can join the Memorization program that is part of the Qur’aan program.

The registration for the program will start in the 2nd week of September,

    1. Starting from September inshaaAllaah.
    2. Fees is 500 /600Qr, including books & CD & all material.
    3. Its a 1 year course, weekly 2 classes (Thursday evenings & Saturday mornings)
    4. Its a program for NON-Arab girls.
    5. When she finishes the Qaidah course, she can continue & join the memorization program in the center. Yes she can continue with her school, as the program is only twice a week.
    6. starting age is 6 years. (There are other centers that take girls younger than 6 years & start directly from memorization. But this program is very beneficial for Non-Arabs.
    7. September 2013 inshaaAllaah.
    8. No pick & drop facility. Parents have to arrange their own transportation.

Maryam center is in Abu Hamour area, Please click the link below for contact number, email address & map to the center.
